G-TECH completed the geotechnical investigation for the construction of an 80,000 ft2 building connected to two (2) 567,000 ft2 greenhouse buildings. Following this investigation, a methane investigation and Phase I ESA were commissioned in order to meet local regulatory requirements. These investigations were conducted to CSA Standards. ENG-TECH provided foundation design advice during the design process, through several iterations of the design for the greenhouses. ENG-TECH was able to provide quick turn-around and expert advice during these scope changes.
ENG-TECH’s investigation involved the drilling of 43 holes on a site 602,000 m2 in size. The Methane investigation required the installation of 4 monitoring wells, an air sampling program and a risk assessment of the property.
ENG-TECH’s involvement in the project has continued to the present day, providing expert advice throughout the design process, and project management during of multiple phases of construction.
